A new BASELIER 6-ROW POTATO TOPPER will be shown for the first time in the UK by Standen Engineering Ltd at Cereals 2006, June 14-15. (Stand 230)
The BASELIER LKB-550id FRR is a 6-row potato topper, topping three potato beds in one pass. An extra wide topper is mounted on the front of the tractor, with two additional units mounted on the tractor’s rear 3-point linkage in a hydraulic folding frame.
Output will be around 4-5 acres/hour. The new hydraulic folding machine is an additional model to the existing market leading 6-row rigid model.

STANDEN ENGINEERING this week announces details of its all new trailed 3-row potato harvester, the STANDEN-PEARSON T3. With an up to 60% output increase when compared to a 2-row trailed harvester, this newcomer is in a market niche all of its own.
T3 can harvest 3-rows in different formats; on 72” (1.8m) beds, lifting one pair of rows, plus 1-row from the right or left bed, or 3-rows at 36” (90cm). A tractor of about 180hp is recommended.

New STANDEN-PEARSON potato planters for 2006 will feature an advanced all new seed cup design, developed to enhance planting precision, and reduce greening.
The reverse sides of the cups have a special profile incorporated into the underside of the moulding; this centralises seeds as they travel down to the stainless-steel openers.
The result is improved seed placement, less seed roll in the furrow, better soil covering, and of course less greening as the crop matures.
