STANDEN-PEARSON T3 is a trailed 3-row potato harvester offering up to 60% more output than a 2-row trailed harvester. T3 can harvest 3-rows in different formats; on 72” wheel track (1.8m) beds, lifting one pair of rows between the tractor wheels plus 1-row from the right or left bed. Or at 108" (2.75m) tractor wheel track, 3-rows at 36” (90cm). A 180hp tractor is the recommended minimum.

T3 - RUGGED CHASSIS – POWERFUL HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

POWERFUL HYDRAULIC SYSTEM - EFFECTIVE OIL COOLING & FILTRATION
T3 is built on a special chassis designed to provide strength, excellent visibility for the driver, and easy access for maintenance and adjustments. The drive-line is simple and rugged, requiring minimal attention, with long life components used to maximise reliability. All hydraulic variable speed drives are featured throughout the harvester, with all speeds adjustable from the driver’s cab mounted CAN-Bus electronic control console.
Powerful hydraulics feature 4 x high capacity load sensing pumps, suction filters protect each of the main pumps separately, and individual pre-filters are fitted before each valve. T3 uses a suitably prepared section of its main chassis as a high capacity hydraulic oil reservoir, providing effective, natural oil cooling, and neat installation without needing a separate oil tank. So efficient is this system, the extra cost and complication of a separate oil cooler has proved unnecessary.
Hydraulic powered wheel drives are standard equipment on T3, the driver can select power assist, constant drive, or power boost functions. Generous flotation wheel equipment is also standard. The offside wheel is rotated underneath the harvester for road transport to achieve a transport width of just 3.4 metres. In the field the wheel is simply rotated to its outer position for maximum stability once the crop is opened. A special wide angle P.T.O shaft allows powered axle operation at headlands. Hydraulic rear axle steering, hydraulic levelling and a hydraulic drawbar are also standard.
TOUCH SCREEN - USER-FRIENDLY DRIVER INTERFACE
Touch Screen technology offers a user-friendly, easy to operate driver interface. Touch Screen is programmable; profiles can be created offering fast selection of a range of settings to suit different crops and conditions.
A series of functions can also be programmed to operate in sequence; at the start or at the end of the rows to be lifted for instance. Hydraulic circuit pressures and shaft speeds are also monitored, and the system features full diagnostics.
JOYSTICK CONTROLS - SMOOTH, PROGRESSIVE
Joysticks activate major functions providing responsive and progressive control at the operator’s fingertips. Joysticks can be programmed so their functionality suits the operator’s preferences.
ADVANCED LIFTING TECHNOLOGY
Automatic share depth control is standard; adjustable from the driver’s cab
Automatic share depth control is standard equipment; fully adjustable from the driver’s cab, it can also be overridden by the operator at any time.
The digging web is at 36mm pitch; importantly, the transfer height between the digging and sieving webs is adjustable from the cab, (VariSep) offering an added dimension of adjustability to the separation process to suit field conditions. The driver can instantly see the results of any adjustment at this point.
The sieving web is available in pitches from 36mm to 50mm. 4 x hydraulic rotary agitators (adjustable in pairs from the cab') are fitted to this web. Effective haulm removal comes in the form of an independently driven full width haulm roller with a reverse drive facility.
VariSep - DIGGING/SIEVING WEB SEPARATION POINT ADJUSTMENT

VariSep enables the operator to easily adjust the degree of step or separation. Photograph shows VariSep set for maximum separation (high step); stepless control allows adjustment from this setting to level webs (no step)
An Open-Plan chassis design provides clear unobstructed visibilty for the driver. With the benefit of VariSep, the height of the step and therefore the degree of separation at that point can easily be controlled to suit soil conditions and minimise crop damage
OMEGA - Separation Technology

Gentle, high capacity, soil, clod, stone and haulm removal with total adjustability
OMEGA; gentle, effective, high capacity clod, stone, haulm and weed separation is at the heart of T3, providing efficient crop cleaning and removal of unwanted material.
T3 features two OMEGA separating units, one behind the other. Each OMEGA unit comprises 4 x soft fluted rollers (plastic covered, foam filled), and 4 x clod rollers; Ebonite or steel. Both OMEGA units are angle adjustable from the cab’ to provide varying degrees of separation.
Fluted roller speed is adjusted from the driver's cab. Clod roller speeds are also adjusted from the cab, along with clod roller height adjustment. Clod rollers can also be reversed.
Importantly, during its adjustment, each clod roller rotates around the circumference of their adjacent fluted roller. This unique 'constant geometry' design ensures the gap doesn't change with up/down adjustment.
The driver's Control Console has clear indicators showing clod roller height.
OMEGA's wide range of adjustment enables it to be used effectively in many different soil types and conditions. Also on salad and main crop potatoes, carrots, onions, parsnips, turnips, celeriac, etc.

With a width of 1300mm the elevator is well matched to the harvester capacity. Neat design features enable folding within the width of the main chassis. Double articulation also means the elevator can be lowered sufficiently for windrowing of the crop.
