The BASELIER 6LKB-550 6-row topper (shown here) can be mounted on the front or the rear of a suitable tractor. It features all the advantages of smaller BASELIER 2-ROW and 4-ROW models, with the added benefit of greater output (4-5 acres/hour).

BASELIER has considerable experience with potato varieties and soil conditions all over the UK, not just with their market leading range of rotary hook tine cultivators for potatoes, but with a fine line-up of potato toppers too.

Precision engineering and dynamic balancing allows the rotor to operate smoothly at up to 1260 RPM, ensuring super efficient pulverisation of tops. High quality hardened flails are available to fit potato rows exactly, or in a 'bed' configuration to suit all crop planting arrangements.

Bed configured machines are offered with an optional 'CENTRE-PLATE' deflector, this is a tops displacer which has been carefully developed to ensure that flailed material is effectively guided to the wheelings. The CENTRE-PLATE system has already been used with great success on BASELIER 2-ROW and 4-ROW id models (Integrated Deflector) potato toppers without a cross conveyor.

Stainless steel upper body and inspection hatches help to keep the topper running clean, and mean it's never rusty when you need to get going and your topper is no longer new! An optional end-tow transport kit is available, it takes just ten minutes to change from working to transport mode. Two hydraulic folding 6-row (3-bed)models are offered, in 2-section or 3-section versions.
